Summer 2026 Pilot (Denver)

What we’re testing
We’re testing whether a supported, predictable concert experience — designed with caregivers and delivered with simple in-venue supports — can consistently create safe, joyful nights for adults (18+) with autism/IDD.

Pilot scope

  • ~6 events during Summer 2026

  • Adults 18+ with autism/IDD

  • Caregivers required

  • 1-3 participants per event (plus caregivers)

  • One anchor venue to start

Run-of-show (summary)

  • Pre-planning with caregiver (triggers, early signs, what helps, break/exit plan)

  • Day-of meet-up + check-in

  • Calm entry + seating plan

  • Sensory supports + step-away breaks

  • Regroup + smooth exit

  • 2-minute caregiver survey + short after-action debrief

Safety + escalation (summary)

We use a prevention-first approach: early warning signs → break plan → exit plan. If a safety issue rises, we coordinate with caregivers and venue guest services immediately.

Metrics we’ll track

  • Participants feel supported and the night ends well (including planned early exits)

  • Caregivers report the experience was positive and would attend again

  • We identify exactly what conditions/supports are required to make this repeatable

What we need from partners

Venue partners: a point of contact, entry/space guidance, step-away options, and an escalation pathway.
Community partners: help identifying participants who are a good fit for a first pilot and sharing feedback to strengthen the model.
