About Sharing in the Groove
Mission: We expand access to live music for adults with disabilities through supported, in-venue concert experiences.
Vision: Every fan can access the room, the music, and the community.
Why live music / why access
Live music isn’t just entertainment — it can be regulating, connecting, and life-giving. For many adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities, the barriers to concerts are real: crowds, lines, noise, unpredictability, and a lack of support. Sharing in the Groove exists to make concerts feel possible again.
Our values + guardrails
Dignity and autonomy: adults are adults; we lead with respect and choice
Safety through planning: predictable flow, clear expectations, and break/exit plans
Caregivers as partners: caregivers are required in year one
Start small, learn fast: pilot responsibly before scaling
Clear boundaries: we provide in-venue support only (no transport, personal care, meds, or clinical services.
